National Cheng Kung University – Summer Intensive Chinese Classes
National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), College of Liberal Arts, Chinese Language Center (CLC) has been awarded first place of achievement in the 2014 national university Chinese language centers assessment process conducted by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan.
The Center was established in 1982, offering a complete Chinese language training program, to promote international cultural exchange. Each year more than 1,000 foreign students from 50 countries study Chinese at the language center.
Chinese Classes:
Small group classes have from 6 to 12 people. Placement test scores determine student placement into one of nine levels ranging from no Chinese language skills to advanced skills.
Individual classes are designed according to the different needs and abilities of individual students. Teachers adjust teaching methods and materials to suit student learning circumstances.
Elective classes are offered in language subjects including writing, plays, Chinese readings, selected Chinese literature readings, news reading, and Chinese idioms, along with cultural studies including calligraphy, painting, and Tai-chi.
